Issu de l’underground liégeois, Cosmoh commence à déployer son univers brut et complexe sur la scène rap francophone. Alors que Bruxelles est devenue une référence quasi incontournable du rap européen, oublier Liège au profit de la capitale belge serait une erreur de taille.

Coming out of Liège’s underground, Cosmoh is beginning to carve out his own lane in French-language rap, with a raw sound and a world that feels distinctly his. Brussels may dominate conversations around Belgian and European rap, but writing off Liège would be a mistake.
Raised in that fertile local scene, Cosmoh has the potential to make noise across Belgium and beyond. Here’s how he got here.
DES FREESTYLES AU BUNKERFROM FREESTYLES TO THE BUNKER
Un sacré chemin a été parcouru depuis ses premiers freestyles à quinze ans et les sessions studio improvisées qui ont suivi. À dix-neuf ans, la décision est prise : Cosmoh passe réellement à l’action et s’isole pour se concentrer sur sa musique. Sa chambre devient un bunker, la prod et le rap ses seuls exutoires. Son objectif : affiner son style, faire du son brut qui impacte et des flows qui dégomment, pour raconter son quotidien de jeune Liégeois débrouillard, ses aspirations et ses envies.
Mettre Liège sur la carte du rap, c’est aussi ce qu’Absolem et Fresh la Peufra se sont efforcés de faire, de la scène des Ardentes à la première saison de Nouvelle École, remportée par Fresh. On peut encore citer Bakari, Moji x Sboy, ONHA ou Shvdxw. À travers leurs textes, ils nous rappellent que, si Liège n’est peut-être pas Cali ou Baltimore, ce n’est certainement pas une bourgade tranquille.
He has come a long way since freestyling at fifteen and recording in makeshift studio sessions. At nineteen, Cosmoh made the decision to commit, isolating himself to focus entirely on music. His bedroom became a bunker; producing and rapping became his only outlets. The goal was simple: sharpen his sound, make raw records that hit, build flows with real impact, and document the daily life, ambitions and hunger of a resourceful young artist from Liège.
Cosmoh is not the first to push Liège onto the rap map. Absolem and Fresh la Peufra have done their part, from Les Ardentes to Fresh’s win on the first season of Nouvelle École. Bakari, Moji x Sboy, ONHA and Shvdxw belong in that conversation too. Their music is a reminder that Liège may not be Cali or Baltimore, but it is far from sleepy.
LE SON SE CONSTRUITTHE SOUND TAKES SHAPE
Produit du bouillonnement liégeois, Cosmoh s’est aussi nourri de l’explosion SoundCloud vers 2016. Il s’inscrit dans l’héritage rap de sa ville et puise son inspiration dans ses rues et ses ambiances. Côté influences, Cosmoh cite lui-même Future, Playboi Carti, Young Thug et Ateyaba. Ce sont les quatre références qu’il revendique directement. Son identité reste pourtant liée à son vécu, à Liège et à une poésie street qu’il ramène dans sa propre écriture.
En 2024, l’artiste pose les fondations de son univers avec le projet C-Society. En 2025, sa musique prend un nouveau tournant. Les singles sortis cette année-là marquent une rupture : plus sombres, plus techniques et plus aboutis, ils confirment sa progression. Et que dire du run démarré en 2026, si ce n’est qu’il ressemble sérieusement à une piste de décollage ? Le rappeur commence à prendre son envergure.
Cosmoh also came of age during the 2016 SoundCloud wave. He draws from Liège’s rap lineage, its streets and its atmosphere. When it comes to influences, Cosmoh himself cites Future, Playboi Carti, Young Thug and Ateyaba. Those are the four references he directly claims. His identity still comes back to lived experience, Liège and the street poetry he brings into his own writing.
His 2024 project C-Society laid the foundation. In 2025, the music took a darker, more intricate and more fully realized turn, making his progression impossible to miss. By 2026, that growth feels less like experimentation and more like acceleration. Cosmoh is starting to sound like an artist ready to break out.
« HIROSHIMA », LE POINT DE BASCULE“HIROSHIMA,” THE TURNING POINT
On ne change pas une équipe qui score : depuis son single « Ball », sorti en mai 2026, Cosmoh semble s’être entouré de gâchettes, côté son comme côté visuel. Une énergie et une esthétique brutes qui frisent parfois le punk, même s’il n’y a aucun doute : c’est de la trap percutante comme on l’aime.
À la prod, Cosmoh retrouve Jasbeats pour un son oppressant et explosif, qui met en valeur son flow et ses rimes coupantes. Côté clip, @jooe.di, @itsdaqeh et leur équipe signent une réalisation coup de poing : images d’archives, effets spéciaux, playbacks de l’espace et plans sur Cosmoh, spliff au bec ou couvert de fourmis ! Le résultat est plus que réussi : une ambiance pesante et explosive qui traduit fidèlement l’univers de l’artiste.
If the formula is working, don’t change it. Since releasing “Ball” in May 2026, Cosmoh seems to have built a team capable of matching his intensity across both sound and visuals. There is something almost punk in that raw energy and visual language, but the core is clear: hard-hitting trap with real bite.
He reconnects with Jasbeats for a tense, explosive production that leaves room for his cutting flow and rhymes. In the video, @jooe.di, @itsdaqeh and their team match that energy with a visual punch of their own: archive footage, special effects and surreal performance shots. Cosmoh appears with a spliff between his lips, then covered in ants. The result is heavy, volatile and fully in sync with the world around the record.
